3Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch or 8x10-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, Cocoa Stingin' Hot Honey , vanilla extract, and eggs. Mix until smooth and fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder until evenly distributed.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until a smooth batter forms.
- Fold in the pecans until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the surface is set and the edges begin to pull away from the sides of the pan.
- Remove from the oven and allow the brownies to cool completely on a wire rack.
- While the brownies cool, prepare the frosting by creaming together the butter, icing sugar, cocoa powder, and a drizzle of Cocoa Stingin' Hot Honey until light and smooth.
- Once cooled, carefully cut the brownie sheet in half.
- Spread an even layer of frosting over one half of the brownie sheet.
- Place the second brownie layer on top and gently press down.
- Cut into bars or squares and serve.
