Hot Honey Puff Pastry Pizza

2Ingredients
- 1 sheet store-bought puff pastry, approximately 10" × 6"
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 100–150 g capicola
- 200–250 g provolone
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 Tbsp sesame seeds
- 50 g pecorino or Parmesan, grated
- Halifax Honey Stingin' Hotter Red Lava Edition, to taste
- Fresh basil, torn

3Method
1. Prepare the Puff Pastry
Preheat your oven to 425°F. Place the puff pastry on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Brush the pastry evenly with pizza sauce, leaving a small border around the edges. Blind bake for 3–5 minutes, or until the pastry just begins to puff.
2. Add the Toppings
Remove the puff pastry from the oven and layer the capicola and provolone over the pizza sauce.
Brush the exposed crust with beaten egg and sprinkle the sesame seeds over the egg wash.
Return to the oven and bake for another 5–10 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
3. Finish with Halifax Honey Company Stingin' Hotter Honey
Remove from the oven and immediately top with grated pecorino or Parmesan and torn fresh basil.
Finish with a drizzle of Halifax Stingin’ Hotter Honey for the perfect combination of savoury, cheesy flavour and sweet heat.
